Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she has also delved into different styles like hip-hop soul and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as delicate and sharp, but still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won an Grammy.
